Marilyn has worked with young people for over twenty years in both formal and non -formal education settings. Drama Matters is an incredibly important community that supports and champions drama teachers, which is needed more than ever in this current climate for Arts Education. Having worked as a teacher for six years and still working directly in the Education sector its a privilege to be asked to be a Patron and associate with this organisation.  I hope to continue to actively engage with Drama Matters and work directly with teachers in my role at National Youth Theatre to provide more opportunities and access to theatre for young people throughout the UK.
