Over the years many have questioned why I do all I do for nothing, quite simply because I believe in a better world of support, inclusivity, kindness and love and of course sharing and building the passion of our wonderful subject.

I hear you saying that but I thought everything was free, it is, BUT I have to pay out for Website, YouTube, Pod cast, Zoom, cost of awards etc and a few other extras along the way and this way it will help support the work that is being done.

So if you are one of the people that say, how or why, or you should be charging, here is a simple way around it, you can donate a one off or a regular amount for as little or as much as you like. Even if every person on the FaceBook group donated a £1 a year that would open up so many possibilities. The dream is that one day we will be able to create a fund for those wanting to go into the industry or support for that school that don’t believe in Drama’s value and therefore there is no budget, all money received will go towards the expenditure and of course anything left over will sit there until it is of a size that we could do something with it, who knows if it grows that much perhaps we can subsidise teachers being able to attend the networking weekend.
