My name is Samantha Bryden , I am currently head of Performing Arts at a secondary school in West London.Originally from West Yorkshire and a dance specialist, I have been teaching Drama and Dance for over 20 years , I began a career as a professional dancer after graduating with a degree in Dance Performance at Middlesex University. After working in the Uk and abroad, I settled in London to start my family and began my teaching career.I qualified as a yoga teacher for children, ran a franchise and then went on to  set up a small Dance / Drama business.   After qualifying as an outstanding teacher in 2018, I’ve gone on to teach In secondary and further education. My previous role was course leader at Southwark college teaching L2 and L3, Dance and Drama. I’m also a ‘ stage mum’ with my daughter previously having a role in  Andrew Lloyd Webbers School of Rock! A singer an actor, who regularly attends castings with her agent.

I absolutely LOVE what I do and will continue to promote , be an ambassador and champion performing arts for our young people.
