Hi there! I’m Jessica, and I’m thrilled to be the Drama Matters Bridge Builder for Lancashire. Performing Arts has been a passion of mine since childhood—it has truly shaped who I am. During a Theatre in Education project in college, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact Drama can have on people, which sparked my deep passion for educating young people through the medium of Performing Arts.

I went on to study Music Theatre at UCLAN before earning my PGCE specialising in Drama Education. My passion for the arts has taken me around the globe, whether working in the Entertainment industry or teaching.  I’m happily back in the North West as a Head of Drama, and I am passionate about connecting Drama teachers and establishing a supportive, collaborative community. I truly believe that by sharing ideas and experiences, we can inspire each other and help Performing Arts education thrive.
